| 2009-01-10 - JENS NIELSEN DRAFTED BY ISAC |
The Danish puck magician Jens Nielsen begins to work in Isac Sport organization.
Jens will start working full time with the sale at the company based in Rättvik in Sweden.
Moreover, Jens now becomes a pro hockey player again.
Sunday January 11 he is debuting in his new Slovenian team Olimpija Ljubljana.
- I have a contract til the end of January, then we will see how it will be depending on how the team plays, Jens says.
Earlier in the autumn, he played in Borlänge in Division 1 and worked as a salesman at the newspaper Dala-Demokraten.
Now he will also change job. Jens will begin to sell Isac sticks and other products.
- It will be really fun, Isacs stuff is good, I have experienced that myself, Jens said.
- The new Super Light stick will be a success, Jens predicts.
- The Cobra is also nice, he adds.
Jens might even achieve a new customer base, by playing in Ljubljana. The team plays in the Austrian league.
- It is really interesting, Jens says.
His new coach is the former Leksands, HV 71 and Borlänge-coach from Canada, Randy Edmonds.
- Edmonds arrived in Ljubljana as the team had 5 points in 17 games, so it has clearly improved since he came to the team. Now they are five points from the finals, but it is quite a lot of matches left. So the club's goal is to get to the finals, says Nielsen.
Jens has 372 points in 552 games in the Swedish Elitserien and 149 points in 129 games in the Danish national ice hockey team.
In Division 1 team Borlänge ha got 27 points in 19 games.
